The Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) ID is a unique Digital Identity issued by the Rajasthan Government to every registered citizen, business, and government employee. Instead of remembering separate usernames and passwords for each government department or scheme, you use one ID and one password to access everything.
Think of your SSO ID as a universal key — created once, used everywhere across the Rajasthan e-governance ecosystem. Whether you are a student applying for a scholarship, a job seeker submitting an RPSC application, or a business owner managing your Udyog registration, everything is accessible through a single login.
Services You Can Access After Login
The SSO portal supports three types of users. Your login method may vary slightly depending on which category you belong to:
👤 Citizen
- Regular residents of Rajasthan
- Login via SSO ID + Password
- Also via Jan Aadhaar, Google, or Facebook
- Access: scholarships, certificates, ration card, etc.
🏛️ Government Employee
- State government staff
- Login via SSO ID or SIPF Number
- Access: SIPF, salary slip, service records
- Higher-level access than citizen accounts
🏭 Udhyog (Business)
- Registered business entities
- Login via SSO ID + Password
- Also via Udyog Aadhaar or SAN
- Access: business licenses, GST-linked services
Follow these steps carefully to log in to the official Rajasthan SSO portal. The process takes under two minutes once you have your credentials ready.
Open the Official SSO Portal
Go to sso.rajasthan.gov.in in your browser. Make sure the URL begins with https:// — this confirms you are on the secure, official government website and not a look-alike.
Enter Your SSO ID (Digital Identity)
In the username field, type your unique SSO ID exactly as it was created during registration — including any letters, numbers, or underscores. The SSO ID is case-insensitive but must be entered without spaces.
RJ SSO to 9223166166 from your registered mobile to get it instantly via SMS.Enter Your Password
Type your account password in the password field. The portal hides this as you type for security. If you have not changed your password before, it may be the one set during registration.
Solve the Captcha
Enter the 6-digit security number shown in the captcha image box. This step confirms you are a real person and not an automated system. The characters are numbers only — read them carefully.
Click the Login Button
Once all three fields are filled correctly, click the "Login" button. You will be taken to your personalised SSO dashboard where all your linked services and applications are available.
Before logging in, ensure your device and browser meet these basic requirements for the best experience on the SSO portal:
| Requirement | Details | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| SSO ID | Your unique Digital Identity (username) created during registration | Register at sso.rajasthan.gov.in if you don't have one |
| Password | Your secret access key — keep it private and do not share with agents | At least 8 characters with mixed letters, numbers, and symbols |
| Internet Connection | A stable connection on any device — smartphone, laptop, or PC | Broadband or 4G recommended for smooth access |
| Browser | Must support modern web standards (HTML5, JavaScript enabled) | Google Chrome 100+, Firefox 95+, or Safari 15+ |
| Device | Any device capable of running a modern browser | Desktop/laptop for document uploads; mobile for quick checks |
| Registered Mobile | Required for OTP-based actions and account recovery | Keep your number active and linked to the account |
You do not need a computer to access the SSO portal. The official Raj SSO app for Android lets you log in and access services directly from your smartphone — useful when you are away from home or using a shared computer.
Raj SSO — Official Android App
Available on the Google Play Store. Free to download. Supports all features of the web portal including profile management, service access, and OTP login.
▶ Download from Google Play StoreBenefits of Using the Mobile App

Even on a well-maintained portal, technical hiccups happen. Here are the most common issues users report and exactly how to resolve them:
Account Locked After Multiple Failed Attempts
If you enter the wrong password three or more times in a row, the portal automatically locks your account for 30 minutes as a security measure. Wait for the lock period to expire before trying again. If this keeps happening, use the password reset guide to set a new, memorable password.
Forgotten SSO ID
Click "I forgot my Digital Identity (SSOID)" on the login page, or send RJ SSO to 9223166166 from your registered mobile number to receive your ID via instant SMS reply. Full details in our SSO ID recovery guide.
Captcha Not Loading or Blurry
Press F5 to refresh the page, or click the refresh icon next to the captcha image to generate a new one. If it still does not appear, clear your browser cache (Ctrl + Shift + Delete on Chrome) and try again, or switch to a different browser.
OTP Not Received
First, confirm that the mobile number shown on the portal is your current registered number. Check for DND (Do Not Disturb) restrictions on your SIM. If you still don't receive it within 2 minutes, click "Resend OTP." If the number itself is outdated, you will need to visit an E-Mitra centre to update it.
Page Not Loading or Showing Error
This usually happens during peak hours (9 AM – 11 AM and 5 PM – 7 PM) when server load is high. Try refreshing after a few minutes. Also check that JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings — the portal requires it to function. Switching from mobile data to Wi-Fi (or vice versa) can also help.
Profile Details Outdated After Login
If your linked services or personal details appear incorrect after login, click the pencil (Edit Profile) icon at the top right of the dashboard. Update your mobile number, email, and any identity document details. Always verify via OTP after making changes.
Your SSO ID gives access to sensitive government services including pension records, scholarship funds, and identity documents. Keeping it secure is essential.
- Never share your SSO ID or password with any agent, E-Mitra operator, or third party. Government services never ask for your password.
- Do not log in from public computers (cybercafé, library) unless absolutely necessary. If you do, always log out and clear the browser session.
- Use a strong, unique password — mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Avoid birth dates, phone numbers, or "rajasthan123".
- Keep your registered mobile number active — it is your primary recovery tool for both ID retrieval and OTP verification.
- Update your email and mobile in Edit Profile any time they change, so you are never locked out.
- Change your password periodically, especially if you suspect someone else may have seen it.
- Check your linked applications after login to ensure no unauthorised activity has occurred on your account.
