SSO ID Registration

You can access information about various government schemes by visiting the Rajasthan SSO portal. To log in, you will need an SSO ID. If you don’t have one yet, you can easily create it yourself. This single ID grants you access to all the schemes and services provided by the Rajasthan government.

I will explain the entire SSO ID registration process in detail. By following these steps, you can create your own ID from the comfort of your home without any outside help. I will also list the documents you need to have ready for registration.

Rajasthan SSO ID Registration

The Rajasthan SSO (Single Sign-On) portal is a vital platform that allows citizens, business owners, and government employees to access a wide range of state services through a single window. Follow these steps to register your account easily from home.

Getting Started

  1. Visit the official SSO portal.
  2. On the right side of the homepage, you will see two tabs: Login and Registration. Click on Registration.
  3. You will be presented with three categories: Citizen, Udyog (Business), and Govt. Employee.

1. Registration for Citizens

If you are a resident of Rajasthan or a general user, select the Citizen tab. You have two primary ways to register:

Option A: Using Jan Aadhaar (For Rajasthan Residents)

Option B: Using Google (For All Others)

2. Registration for Udyog (Business)

If you are running a business and need to access government industrial services, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Registration tab on the SSO portal and click on Udyog.
  2. Click on the SAN (Sanchar Aadhaar Number) icon.
  3. Enter your Institute Aadhaar Number (SAN) and click Next.
  4. Fill in the required business and contact information.
  5. Click Register. Once successful, you can log in to manage your business services.

3. Registration for Govt. Employees

State government employees can link their service details directly to their SSO ID:

  1. On the Registration tab, select Govt. Employee.
  2. Click on the SIPF (State Insurance and Provident Fund) button.
  3. Enter your SIPF Number and Password, then click Next.
  4. The system will fetch your official details. Complete the remaining fields as prompted.
  5. Click Register. You can now log in to access services like your e-Gras, GPF details, or leave applications.

FAQs

1. Is an Aadhaar Card mandatory for registration?

No, but it is highly recommended. While you can register using just a Google account, you won't be able to access most state government services (like scholarships or recruitment) without linking a Jan Aadhaar or Aadhaar card. If you register via Google first, you can link your Jan Aadhaar later in the "Edit Profile" section to unlock full features.

2. I already have an SSO ID but forgot my username or password. What should I do?

Don't create a new one! Having multiple IDs can cause data conflicts. Use the recovery tools on the login page:

Forgot Username? Click "I forgot my digital identity (SSOID)" and enter your registered mobile number or Jan Aadhaar.
Forgot Password? Click "I forgot my password" and reset it via OTP sent to your phone.
SMS Method: You can also send an SMS: RJ SSO to 9223166166 from your registered mobile number.

3. Why am I getting the "Mobile Number Already Exists" error?

This usually happens because a family member might have used your mobile number for their own SSO registration, or you created an ID years ago and forgot.

The Fix: Use the "Forgot SSOID" option with that mobile number to see which ID it is linked to. If it's your own old ID, just recover the password and continue using it.

4. Can I change my SSO ID (Username) after registration?

No. Once your SSO ID (e.g., sharma.rahul2026) is created and confirmed, it cannot be changed. You can update your name, mobile number, and address in the profile settings, but the "Digital Identity" (Username) stays the same forever. Pick something professional!

5. I am a student from outside Rajasthan. How should I register?

If you don't have a Jan Aadhaar (since it's for Rajasthan residents), you should register using your Google Account.
